Augmented reality have been around for quite some time now, or at least in a conceptual manner, but will it ever catch on?..

Rocketbirds Revolution is one of the best Flash platform games i’ve seen in a long time, high production value and cleaver handling, it reminds me about Another world and Flashback, great games by the way.

Think about Microsofts photosynth which stitch a series of images to create a fisheye type images, now imagine this idea but using 150’000 or even 500’000 images found on the web to build 3D models of cathedrals or even cities etc.

LiDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) is an absolutely amazing optical 3D scanning system, in Nottingham they use this technology to map 450+ caves located around the city, which for me sounds like the most amazing adventuress vacation idea ever, but this 3D ture in a flow of millions of scanned dots is an equal exiting experience.

Ever wanted to live small, no?. well what if you could live small with class and style including having nature right there at you doorstep, i think i’ll say yes. it’s interesting since i’ve just talked with friends about doing a 2.5*2.5*2.5 sqr accommodation pod and then i stumble upon on this pearl :), to be honest i have seen it before in Danish magazines but sadly forgot about it.
only thing i want to know is, where’s the buy now button.

I am an absolutely fan of minimalism and Titus Bernhard have really nailed it, if i owned this building i’ll my office home and just wander around in the building being mesmerized by its simplicity and beauty.

3D scanners use to be as expensive as trucks or even houses, but with the advancement of DIY you can now scan objects for only a few hundred bucks.

By now everyone reading my blog properly know about Angry birds, and im guessing most of you may even have played it more than once this week, which is pretty amazing for a “simple” casual game.
