Rocketbirds Revolution is one of the best Flash platform games i’ve seen in a long time, high production value and cleaver handling, it reminds me about Another world and Flashback, great games by the way.
By now everyone reading my blog properly know about Angry birds, and im guessing most of you may even have played it more than once this week, which is pretty amazing for a “simple” casual game.
Interactive storytelling have never been my cup of tea, But Strange is an atmospheric marble without making you puke in over-Americanized-happy-endings :), the idea of “looking” up in the sky is really nice, even thou your most likely to be looking down towards the ground when playing the “game”, still i love the rain effect and random airplanes passing by :) so Zen… and i like Zen :), just watch the video will you :D.
I have never been much into sideshooter games too stressful to play and you always have to start over after x deaths, but i did have my share of sideshooting as a kid, hey when you buddies beat your highscore you’ve better gear up :), over the time there’s literately been billions-trillions of different sideshooters all looking the same, but it seems PixelJunk have something new on the table, shooting, puzzeling etc. but the best thing JUST LOOK AT THAT ABOUT OF OBJECTS IN THE GAME and they are all smeared in physics oil’n'grees i love it.
