LiDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) is an absolutely amazing optical 3D scanning system, in Nottingham they use this technology to map 450+ caves located around the city, which for me sounds like the most amazing adventuress vacation idea ever, but this 3D ture in a flow of millions of scanned dots is an equal exiting experience.

134 hours Norwegian Coastal journey in five minutes

some while ago NRK the Norwegian national television live broadcasted a 134 hours Coastal journey through the absolutely beautiful nature of Norway, it’s a 2600 km journey and here you can see it chopped down to about 5 min :)

i’ve got to admit it’s pretty cool, but if i were asked to take a cruise i would most deferentially would be at some paradise place with white beached and funny deadly fishes, not between rainy mountains, but if that’s what you got then i’ll say this is a pretty great pr stunt for Norway, a stung a small Danish city are thinking to lean up against with its kuk-kuk plan for building a 1000 meter tall mountain (its should be told that the tallest point in Denmark is about 100 meter), but again if you don’t got it… build it hehe.

just read THIS story on gizmodo, geologists have found a lost continent which diapered 55 million years ago into the abyss, this is really fascinating i am just wondering who it may belong to, we Dane’s got a few islands around those parts, it may be connected to Denmark :), which may be interesting since 55 million years ago dinosaurs and trees ruled the world, this could mean Oil :)
